FSUbuntu hosted founder Dr. Sarah Hillyer for a talk about how sport can be used as a platform for peace-building (2013). This was part of the WE ARE ONE movement FSUbuntu started on Ferris Campus to raise money for the donation of One World Fubtols, pictured.

The NO Project


FSUbuntu collaborated with The NO Project, an international anti-slavery and human trafficking initiative, to host the FSUbuntu & The NO Project Anti-Slavery Art & Music Festival (2014).

United States Institute of Peace


FSUbuntu was awarded the United States Institute of Peace grant for the spring semester of 2013 to fund the Conflict Resolution Guest Lecture Series and invite Fulbright speakers to come to Ferris State University and share their research promoting peaceful conflict resolution.
